♦ Anti-war
In college I was very active in the anti-war movement. I was a member of several organizations including Not In My Name and On the Ground. I helped facilitate a walk-out at my school and participated in the great march on Lake Shore Drive March 20th, 2003.
♦ Chicago Clean Power Coalition Field Team
Helped organize, plan events and contribute to communication projects as a part of the campaign to pass the Clean Power Ordinance which led to the closing of two of the nation’s oldest and dirtiest coal-burning power plants. Also supported the campaign to pass community aggregation in Chicago.
